A cat may look at a king

           A cat may look at a King
          And surely I may look at an ugly thing.

This is one of Mother Goose's Nursery Rhymes. It means: 'If a cat may look at a king, I have as much right to take an interest in what you are doing. Are you so important that I can't even look at you?'
